Our scarf design had to be inspired by our semester abroad in Europe. I chose to draw by hand different monuments we saw along the way in the major cities we visited: England, France, and Italy. After drawing it all by hand I painted it with watercolors and then scanned it into Photoshop where I created a tile pattern.
After submitting the designs eight finalists were chosen by the school faculty and then the entire cohort of fashion students voted for their favorite design to be created into a real scarf to be given as a farewell gift as we left our semester in Florence, Italy.
I am very proud to say that my scarf was chosen as the winning design and it was very exciting to see all my fellow classmates wearing my design.
