Back Home

There's nothing I love more than coming back home, no matter how long or short my stay is. Home is home, but I'm extremely fortunate I get to call Puerto Rico my home. This summer is the first time I won't be spending my entire summer at home either working or traveling around the island. In a few short weeks I'm heading out to Tel Aviv, Israel to complete an internship with an incredible fashion designer and I couldn't be more thrilled for this adventure to start.

Turtlenecks & Tank Dresses

It's spring in Ohio which means it's April 10th and there's snow falling outside. I'll be honest, I'm not the best when it comes to layers, I tend to stick to just one sweater, leggings and my snow boots the second I see a single snowflake hit the ground but today I tried to be a little more daring.

Self Portraits Pt. 1

I did something a bit out of my comfort zone the other days. I've been slowly getting more comfortable in front of the camera. For years I shied away from being photographed, for so long I preferred to be the person taking the photos rather than being included in them. I was afraid that these photos would highlight the things I was most afraid about myself. I was terrified all the imperfections and insecurities that I felt on the inside would be magnified and manifest themselves in the photos. So while there are photos of myself throughout middle school and high school, looking back I wish I had so many more.
